Dr. Dana Hoehn Turbes, PsyD, LP

LICENSED CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST

Dr. Turbes was raised in Wisconsin and first came to the Twin Cities to attend the University of Minnesota for her undergraduate studies. She then moved to Portland, Oregon for graduate school, where she earned both her Master of Science and Doctor of Psychology degrees in Clinical Psychology. While in graduate school, Dr. Turbes focused on child and adolescent psychology as well as pediatric psychology, training at Oregon Health & Science University and working with children and teens living with chronic medical conditions.

Dr. Turbes completed an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship in Texas, specializing in child, adolescent, and pediatric psychology. She returned to Minnesota for her post-doctoral fellowship at an epilepsy and neurology specialty clinic in St. Paul, where she worked primarily with children and adolescents who were experiencing mental health challenges and/or Functional Neurologic Disorder (FND).

Following her fellowship, Dr. Turbes worked at an Integrative Medicine Clinic within a community mental health organization before joining a children’s hospital in St. Paul, where she currently provides inpatient and outpatient services to children, adolescents, and young adults.

At the heart of Dr. Turbes’ work is a deep commitment to supporting clients as they navigate their mental health and life’s challenges. She believes in tailoring therapy to each individual’s needs, drawing on evidence-based approaches, while creating a compassionate and collaborative space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported in building resilience and hope.
